First-time visitors These first-time visitor campaigns are a typical best-practice campaign and are often very effective in turning shoppers into customers. All we've done is dressed them up for the holidays!
As online shopping is still new to many people... The 'keeping up with the Jones' tactic definitely works. By targeting new shoppers by region, and then letting them know that your store is popular in their region, you appeal to their hometown pride.
We've all been there-- you want to get that perfect something for that special someone but can't find exactly what you're looking for. Luckily we are able to track how long visitors have been on your site, and after a while, we can safely assume that person is having a hard time finding what they are looking for and offer helpful suggestions.
Similar to the length of visit, after a person has hit so many pages on your site it's likely they can't find what they are looking for and/or getting frustrated. Depending on your business, gift cards may be the perfect option - and perhaps you just need to remind your shoppers of that.
