Headquartered in Gatineau, Quebec, Sitebrand’s operations are managed by a management team with core expertise in a critical aspect of e-marketing, ASP service models, and marketing automation software. Members of the management team include:


Justin Shimoon

, Founder & CEO
Justin has a track record of success in his personal and professional life. As founder and CEO of Sitebrand, Justin has raised over $7.5M in equity and debt financing through private, venture and public financing vehicles.  Most recently, Justin completed Sitebrand’s public listing on the Toronto Venture Exchange.  His persistence, drive and ambition recently earned him the 2008 “Forty Under 40" award which is presented annually for exceptional business ideas and implementation strategies. Justin has also previously earned the prestigious Carleton University Wes Nicol Entrepreneurial Award. Prior to founding Sitebrand, Justin worked at Nortel Networks as part of the Optical Networks Division.  Justin holds a degree in electrical engineering with a major in Telecommunications and a minor in Systems Engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario.




Falk Gottlob,

CTO

Falk brings more than 15 years of technology consulting and management experience to Sitebrand. Before joining Sitebrand, he spent nine years at Microsoft as Chief Software Architect before he moved to Intershop Communications where he spent three years as Chief Solution Architect, creating the Hosted Marketplace and Procurement Solutions. After Intershop, he traveled to over 100 countries and addressed universities and private industry on technology and technology trends. Subsequently, Falk founded MVC technologies; as CEO, the company grew to over 1,000 employees worldwide and provided technology research to industry-leading corporations around the globe. Currently, Falk is responsible for Sitebrand’s worldwide research and development activities. He holds an MS degree in Computer Information Technology from NYU, New York, USA.





Chuck Rifici,

 CFO
Chuck brings 13 years of finance, operational and entrepreneurial experience to Sitebrand. Before joining Sitebrand, he was Chief Financial Officer of Cybersurf Corp, a publicly traded Internet Service Provider listed on the TSX Venture exchange. He was previously co-owner of Cyberus Online Inc., which was acquired by Cybersurf Corp. Chuck is currently responsible for Sitebrand's financial, administrative and human resource activities. He is a director and volunteer treasurer of the Ottawa Humane Society. Chuck holds a Masters of Business Administration from Queen's University, as well as a Bachelor in Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa and is a Certified Management Accountant.




Darryl Praill,

VP of Sales & Marketing
Darryl brings over 20 years of high technology experience to Sitebrand in leadership roles encompassing development, consulting, sales and marketing. Previously, Darryl was the Chief Marketing Officer for CML Emergency Services (now PlantCML), which was a major provider of 9-1-1 solutions. He was VP Sales and Marketing for Adexa, and VP of Marketing for webplan (now Kinaxis), both providers of Supply Chain Management solutions. Darryl ran Global Product Marketing both for Cognos (now IBM), and for Sybase's database division (now Sybase iAnywhere). He has won national awards for management and most recently was a recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40." Darryl has a diploma in Computer Science from Sheridan College.

 





Gavin Parry,

VP of Client Services
Gavin brings extensive eCommerce and online marketplace experience to Sitebrand and its Professional Services division, having spent the past eight years in the United Kingdom managing UK operations for North American software companies. Gavin joined Sitebrand from Truition an On-Demand eCommerce software provider. At Truition, Gavin was hired to start up and build the company's business in the United Kingdom, and over the course of three years he managed all aspects of the UK business, developing and implementing branded eCommerce solutions for mid-level and enterprise clients. Before joining Truition, Gavin was Director of Services at FairMarket Inc. (acquired by eBay in 2003), where he was responsible for UK operations and client services. Gavin holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from McGill University, as well as an MSc in Energy Engineering from Southbank University, UK.
