Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will provide e-marketing expertise and knowledge of the Sitebrand solution to clients. The successful candidate will help successfully execute on such things as Sitebrand campaign strategies, campaign performance reviews and industry best practices. You will work closely with internal departments such as Services, Sales and Marketing to ensure client expectations are exceeded.

The Business Analyst will report to the VP of Client Services.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Sitebrand's industry expert for web optimization, persuasion and analytics and email marketing. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the industry and strive to be part of the thought leadership movement within the industry
  • Comprehensively analyze client web data using industry standard web analytics tools
  • Assess client marketing and business goals, initiatives, resources, pain points, limitations etc in order to provide specific campaign strategy recommendations tailored for the aforementioned
  • Assist Services team, and Support, on new client implementations and ongoing initiatives – primarily for campaign strategy consultation, report reviewing/recommending, and training
  • Create client campaign strategy recommendation reports and supporting documentation
  • Perform regular client reviews and recommendations to optimize campaign metrics
  • Serve as product knowledge expert for client on Sitebrand product and e-mail marketing tool, including training the client
  • Build and maintain Sitebrand web optimization best practices knowledge base
  • Work with Sales to understand client expectations and assist in pre-sales process
  • Assist with information gathering for new and existing business proposals

Skills considered being assets

  • Post secondary education (University or College)
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in marketing and business analysis in a substantial capacity
  • Knowledge of Technology Industry, preferably in e-commerce and online marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication (both verbal and written), time management, and organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize work, be flexible, and work with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics (Google, Omniture, Webtrends), SEO, Web Marketing, and e-commerce technologies
  • Knowledge of email marketing tools (Lyris, EmailLabs etc.)
  • General Marketing skills
  • Project Management
