Account Manager

The Account Manager will build and maintain relationships with Sitebrand clients to ensure the ongoing satisfaction of Sitebrand's solutions and services and to ensure that client expectations are exceeded. The successful candidate will ensure client contract renewals, close additional revenue opportunities within the accounts, act as strategic account manager and work closely with internal departments such as Services, Sales and Product Development to maximize client satisfaction.

This position will maintain a close relationship with its clients and be the first point of contact for client related questions. The Account Manager will report to the VP of Client Services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Regularly report client performance, satisfaction and any escalations to the VP of Client Services
  • Perform regular account reviews and recommendations
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with clients
  • Build in-depth knowledge of the account's business, its goals, metrics and marketing initiatives
  • Document business requirements for client initiatives
  • Work with Professional Services and Support on new client integrations which will consist of planning, product deployment, optimization
  • Work with Support and Development to ensure timely resolution of technical and services issues
  • Define, clarify and communicate client specifications, needs and changes
  • Advocating for the customer within the company, driving changes through interaction with key internal departments
  • Identify trends and anticipate future consequences for recommendation of campaign improvements or service enhancements
  • Analyze and assess client growth drivers and profit leverage points
  • Monitor and safeguard reporting accuracy and detail (performance, data integrity, quality) on campaign revenue and overall client ROI
  • Manages potential conflict areas between operations execution and client requirements

Skills considered being assets

  • Post secondary education (University or College) supplemented with course participation in account/relationship management
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Technology Industry, preferably in e-commerce and online marketing
  • A focus on maintaining and prioritizing customer satisfaction
  • Proven strength and work experience in problem solving and relationship management
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication (both verbal and written), time management, and organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize work, be flexible, and work with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics (Google, Omniture, Webtrends), SEO, Web Marketing, and e-commerce technologies
  • Knowledge of email marketing tools (Responsys, Lyris, ThinData etc.)
  • General Marketing skills
  • Project Management
