Channel Manager
To accommodate increasing customer demand, Sitebrand is expanding its sales team—seeking highly motivated solution channel sales professionals that possess a strong work ethic and a desire to excel. The ideal candidate will be energetic, determined to succeed, have superior communication and phone skills, and have experience in the software field.
Key Responsibilities
- Formalize the Channel Program infrastructure
- Develop a target partner list that will enable quota achievement
- Develop business opportunities for Retail Marketing Suite, resulting in the sales of Sitebrand solutions and services
- Contact, visit, train and maintain targeted Partners
- Develop sales and marketing programs and coordinate company resources to help the partner be successful
- Prospect daily with perspective & current partners
- Work to specific daily/weekly/quarterly objectives
- Conduct sales presentations and close business, primarily over the phone
- Build rapport with executives at prospective partner’s companies through discussion of sales, business, and technology issues
- Implement and manage effective marketing strategies, programs and promotions to drive sales while attaining positive return on investment
- Analyze market, sales and competitive data to identify cost-effective sales approaches to increase market share
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of Sitebrand products, key competitive products and pricing, as well as industry trends
- Develop sales plans by customer and track progress taking corrective action as required
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-5 years sales experience in online and/or technology channels, preferably with SaaS or Marketing Services vendors
- Minimum three years related experience in solution based selling
- Account management experience
- Proven ability to develop effective sales plans, promotions and manage sales through the channel within an assigned budget
- Possess effective decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to be self reliant and work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willing/able to travel
